Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, high quality customer service and support to Bausch & Lomb customers (internal and external) in the area of order fulfillment, consumer/medical affairs, service resolution and deduction management. The position will interact primarily with Canadian customers.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Receive inbound activity through phone and fax. Process all customer orders, samples, inter company transactions, international orders, drop ships, patient assistance orders.
  • Monitor all orders to ensure efficiency and accuracy from time of input, allocation, shipment status, to invoice.
  • Resolve consumer and medical provider product inquiries and questions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of all department and business sales policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to these policies.
  • Coordinate acceptable arrival dates, lead times and carrier routings between accounts and distribution.
  • Resolve service issues that include late shipments, financial service requests, price discrepancies, open deductions, shipment status and billing inquiries.
  • Implement best practices and automated solutions to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  • Handle a diverse customer relations function consisting of consumer calls of an emotional nature.
  • Provide quotations in accordance with the pricing, terms, and provisions of the contract pricing.
  • Maintain daily inventory records, customer orders files, and necessary logs.
  • Provide verification that orders are placed in compliance with FDA regulations.
  • Receive and process returned lens orders for credit and exchange as well as processing customer complaints.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required, AA/Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Fluent in French or French-Canadian language (both written and verbal).
    Minimum of 3 years customer service experience, including exposure to the control of various aspects of sales and service functions.
  • Strong orientation for detail and ability to develop and maintain customer relations.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills along with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
