Description

  • Efficiently manage all aspects of Wireless Projects from pre-application through post-construction phases with support from Project Coordinator & Field Manager
  • Facilitate project timelines and communicate effectively with a variety of groups – internal & external Clients (i.e., other Departments, wireless carriers/consultants, jurisdictions, contractors)
  • Determine site scope, identify resources and determine costs associated with site process & installation
  • Ensure wireless database management is accurate, up-to-date to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate with third party for rights to install and operate carrier’s site
  • Assist carrier in design and scope, including review and approval of third party architectural drawings
  • Determine site designs, based on unique aspects of carrier requirements combined with specific guidelines and standards
  • Review and approve jurisdictional permits for site installation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project accounting, ensure timely processing of all checks/purchase orders, provide time reporting and expense reports by deadlines
  • Responsible for review and management of project costs associated with projects
  • Effective communication and enforcement of all processes and procedures
  • Observe and assess situations and manage appropriately, including involving immediate supervisor for variance and/or exceptions to standard process/procedures
  • Attend PM/PC status meetings
  • Participate in wireless carrier status meetings and provide regular updates on active projects
  • Complete final close-out documents, including inspections and design requirements review and approval
  • Client/consulting training and education on process, policy and field standards, as necessary
  • Participate in regular department and group meetings
  • Provide support and open communication to counterparts & inter-departmental groups on tasks and requests
  • Complete mandated & department/company required annual safety training, defensive driving
  • Always put safety first and ensure others are working safely, inside the office and in the field
