Houston, TX - January 19, 2009 - UK-based Impellam Group plc (www.impellam.com) recently announced that Jim Boone has been named president and chief executive officer of Impellam’s North American business operations which include CORESTAFF Services (www.corestaff.com) and other staffing companies.

Boone is based in Houston and assumed his new role on Jan. 12, 2009.

In addition to CORESTAFF Services, Boone leads Impellam’s other North American staffing companies that include TeleSec CORESTAFF, Leafstone Staffing Services, InfoCurrent (www.infocurrent.com), CORESTAFF/Leafstone Technology Group (www.it.corestaff.com), and CareerTrust (www.careertrust.com), Guidant Group (www.guidantgroup.com), s.com (www.scom-usa.com) and SRG Woolf (www.srgwoolf.com).

Boone has more than 24 years of combined experience in management and executive search. In 2003, he founded Windship Partners, a highly specialized executive search firm. Before merging with Nosal Partners in 2007, Windship Partners focused exclusively on founder transition, board development and senior executive placement for corporations in the technology, financial, industrial and professional services sectors.

Boone’s experience includes numerous senior executive management positions with Nosal Partners, Korn/Ferry and Heidrick and Struggles throughout the Americas. He also served on global executive committees.

Earlier in his career, Boone served in executive positions with Digital Equipment Corporation and Honeywell, Inc.

Boone graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville and completed post-graduate studies at Harvard Business School’s Executive Management Program. He has been actively involved in several advisory boards, including The Technology Association of Georgia, Henry W. Grady Health System Foundation and the University of Louisville College of Business and Public Administration.
