Houston, TX - February 24, 2009 - UK-based Impellam Group plc (www.impellam.com) has announced that Linda Philp has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Impellam’s North American business operations which include CORESTAFF Services (www.corestaff.com) and other staffing companies.

Philp is based in Houston and assumed her new role on Feb. 23, 2009.

“I am delighted to have Linda Philp on board,” said Jim Boone, Impellam Group’s North American president and chief executive officer. “She is a versatile, cross-functionally trained financial executive who is adept at managing complex financial issues while also contributing solutions to pressing business needs.”

Philp joins the company with more than two decades of experience in financial management and strategies. After a successful tenure with Huron Consulting Group, Philp was the chief financial officer for Lodgian Inc., a $400 million publically-traded hotel company. Her previous experience includes serving as director of finance for Campbell Soup Company, and division financial manager of Pizza Hut, a division of PepsiCo, Inc. Earlier in her career, Philp was a staff auditor with Price Waterhouse.

Philp is a certified public accountant. She graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and also completed the Master of Business Administration degree program at the same university.
