Since our company’s inception—almost 20 years ago—Corestaff has been a leader, committed to being a great place to work, a thoughtful steward of the environment and a caring citizen in the communities where we live and work.  We are passionate about sustainably, connecting people and career opportunities, and improving the quality of life of those we employ.  We also understand that our clients wish to do business with companies that share their values and demonstrate good practices in managing their environmental and social impacts.
 
While Corestaff will continue to evolve in the way we operate, we remain resolute to the corporate and social commitments made to our clients, associates and world in which we operate.  In general, these commitments focus on Human Resources, Health and Safety, Facilities and the Environment, and Business Continuity.

Health and Safety

Corestaff strives to provide a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and the associates we place on assignment.  In order to provide good workplaces for our people, we fully comply with all health and safety legislation, regularly reviewing our policies to ensure that they reflect any legislative changes.  We also expect our clients to align with this approach.  To further ensure a healthy and safe environment, we encourage a proactive and positive attitude regarding safety and injury prevention.

Facilities and the Environment

Our environmental impact as a people-based organization, with no manufacturing facilities and limited transportation requirements, is minimal. We are, however, committed to following best practices in the day-to-day conduct of our business, including the use of sustainable and recyclable materials wherever possible, establishing recycling programs in all facilities and automating manual processes that have allowed us to greatly reduce paper consumption.  Efforts allowing us to reduce our carbon footprint include establishing “power down,” energy saving policies for electrical and computer equipment, installing motion-activated light switches for offices and conference rooms and embracing telecommuting for logical areas of the company.

Our Communities and Charitable Work

Corestaff is not just a company, we’re people, too.  Supporting and working with our local communities is important to us. As a result, our people are dedicated to supporting both local and national charities.  Giving back to the communities where we work and live has always been a part of who we are. That’s why we go beyond merely funding worthy causes at the local level and empower our team members to use their unique skills and expertise to support the causes they’re most passionate about.
