JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician?

LOCATION: Chandler, AZ

PAY RATE: $18/Hour

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 40 Hours/Week *OT May Be Required*

Job Summary: Our client is a world leader in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health. We are seeking a qualified candidate to work as part of the logistics team and maintain high performance for all departmental standards including safety, timeliness, quality/accuracy, security and productivity. Work schedule is 8 hours, 1st shift and or possible modified 1st shift to support late afternoon shipments. Overtime work may be needed periodically.

Job Responsibilities:
-Assist site in achieving safety, quality & reliability goals-Take responsibility for personal and site safety - speak up when unsafe conditions exist
-Zero personal first aid/injuries-Attend safety meetings, participate in SafeStart program
-Comply with all policies
-Comply with all training requirements
-Assist maintenance/engineering department with performing inspections of equipment and site
-Assist in maintaining/updating equipment manuals
-Maintain test equipment calibration and associated records
-Perform routine inspections on equipment as per plant standards
-Investigate plant instrumentation/electrical/process control problems; ability to demonstrate good troubleshooting skills/practices
-Execute work orders; identify corrective maintenance activities
-Assist plant operations personnel with process upset/investigations as required
-Work closely with contractors; conformance to safety procedures/processes
Job Requirements:
-Knowledgeable in safe work practices, safety procedures, other safety requirements-Ability to perform I&E maintenance activities as well as other plant maintenance per PM program
-Ability to take precise electrical measurements, troubleshoot mechanical equipment; ability to calibrate
-Able to identify and properly isolate process/equipment points; identify appropriate PPE to wear
-Able to effectively follow written instructions on equipment, systems or maintenance functions
-Able to perform electrical activities
-Able to perform mechanical activities
-Able to assist contractors
-Good verbal/written communication skills
-High School diploma or GED
-Has full range of motion; ability to lift 50 lbs; able to climb ladders; work off elevated platforms/surf
