RETAIL STORE MANAGER

Location: Carson, CA

The PEC Retail Store Manager must have several years of retail store management experience. The Manager is responsible to manage The Retail Store of the Experience Center from an operational, strategic and budget / reporting / KPI perspective. Contribute to the development and implementation of a retail strategy, PDS & marketing profit targets in concert with but not limited to the PEC Team, Aftersales Business, employees and Design.
JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage multiple sales, order and reporting systems like POS / SAP / PPN / Polaris.
  • Maintains reporting, including sales, inventory, returns, purchases, obsolete items, variance reports, COGS reports, write-off reports.
  • Develop and implement an annual budget and marketing plan to achieve financial objectives; conduct proper financial reporting.
  • Setup operational processes as guideline for the Sales Associate and establish cross functional training of other PEC staff.
  • Develop, manage and sell product offerings, pricing and operational guidelines in sync with corporate and departmental requirements as well as profit targets.
  • Maintains reporting, including sales, inventory, returns, purchases, obsolete items, variance reports, COGS reports, write-off reports.

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Retail Merchandising or Business preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum five years experience managing retail operations at a high volume Dealership, retail store or comparable management position in a luxury retail boutique environment.
  • Automotive retail experience a plus.
  • Experience in strategic conceptual setup as well as process development in a corporate environment.

Language skills:

  • English
  • German a plus (not required)
