1-3 years experience preferably; Reviews, evaluates and processes claims and makes recommendations for resolution. Has contact with account managers, employers, claimants, and policy holders. The Life Claims Examiner will be responsible for the investigation, evaluation, interpretation and payment/denial of life claims with sound and impartial claim judgments and with guidance. They have overall responsibility for managing life claims in an ethical manner, ensuring quality decisions, accurate benefit calculations, and with timely, proactive communication with claimants and employers. They are expected to deliver premier customer satisfaction and meet defined standards of performance to include but not limited to time service, response time, productivity and quality
