Assemblers/ Smithfield, NC

Job Title: Assembler $10/Hour

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm, Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

Essential Job Functions:

This job involves using hands to assemble elements made out of cotton like material bonded to expanded metal into paperboard die cut frames.

Lifting: Average lifting of position is approximately 5 lbs and should not exceed 25 lbs at any time.

Standing: Job requires employee to be standing for 10-hour work period.

Requirements:

This job requires the following attributes:

Fast work pace (assembling the elements)

Quality Knowledge (look for high pleats, low pleats, holes, glue on die cut, pleat spacing,

Organizational skills (keeping work area neat, therefore maintaining a safe work area)

Team Work: must be able to work well with others

Safe work ethic: elements consist of expanded metal which is very sharp therefore extra precaution should be taken. The die cut must run through a glue roller which has moving rollers therefore no loose hair, clothing, or jewelry is allowed in this position. Hair must be worn up in a bun or short pony tail.
