Operational Change Management Consultant
Corestaff Services is hiring for our client in west Houston! We are seeking an experienced OCM Consultant for a minimum one year contract position with the potential to become a permanent employee directly with the company.

Pay range: $53-$66/hr.

This position will have flexibility to work remotely and in the office.

JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Consultant, Organizational Change, under the direction of the Director, Organizational Development, will be responsible for working collaboratively with business unit stakeholders, implementation partners, and project management resources to lead organizational change management and learning activities for the organization. The primary focus will be working with business process owners and project teams to create and implement change management plans that minimize associate resistance and drive faster adoption of changes.

Essential Functions

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead overall change management strategy, in partnership with implementation partners and internal project owners, including overall communications and training strategy through the project lifecycle
  • Consult and provide guidance on OCM strategy documents, based on the client's culture and communication best practices
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans - including communication plan, coaching plans for sponsors and front line leaders, training plan and resistance management plan
  • Identify key stakeholders and lead effective stakeholder engagement activities
  • Lead the design, development, delivery, and management of organizational communications, ensuring execution of deliverables in line with the project timeline
  • Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan
  • Review and approve business benefit and change impacts documentation
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs, in partnership with internal and external learning resources
  • Partner with the Learning department in developing effective training logistics program, e.g., end user curricula mapping, scheduling, LMS/invitations, classroom setup
  • Facilitate and lead the Train the Trainer setup and delivery
  • Review/lead change readiness surveys and mitigation planning
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of broad business experience, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Requires familiarity and experience with organizational change management
  • Requires strong ability to communicate and influence at all levels

Certification in Change Management preferred (PROSCI, etc.)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels. Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
