This role is part of Customer Fulfillment Organization and is accountable for performing daily outbound transportation tasks and carrier related communications for multiple manufacturing facilities. The TSS will assign daily freight to the carrier base to meet delivery dates of customer orders in a cost-effective manner. The TSS will collaborate with Customers, Carriers, Manufacturing Facilities, Customer Service Specialists, Logistics Analyst, Material Planners and other organizations as necessary to identify and troubleshoot issues to ultimately deliver our product on-time and damage free. This role will require the TSS to embrace and actively display the company values, stands and purpose.


Managing service for our Customers:

  • Ensure timely and damage free delivery
  • Actively manage Carrier performance
  • Proactive customer communication
  • Support plant activities to ensure timely loading
  • Verification of loading and delivery of material
  • Leverage basic supply chain understanding to maximize value for our customers
  • Recognizing and acting on customer opportunities
  • Understand basic product knowledge

  • Optimization of carriers to ensure cost effective delivery of goods
  • Drive decision making around individual business strategy to best support customer expectations
  • Identify rate gaps and related actions
  • Analyze lane dynamics for cost saving opportunities
  • Creating/consolidating shipments for customers and internal stock transfer orders in the most cost effective manner
